Reporting and Decision Support is for leadership teams that depend on spreadsheets only one or two people understand. DMS agrees the decisions and measures first, then builds dashboards and automated reports in the tool you already own, running each beside the old spreadsheet until users trust it. Work is quoted in blocks of 6 to 12 weeks, and a single automated report can be quoted as a smaller first piece of work.

Month-end reporting runs on spreadsheets that one or two people understand. Leaders get different answers to the same question, and the time from question to answer is measured in days.

Reporting work runs in a fixed order: decisions, then measures, then data, then reports. Building in that order ties every report to a decision someone actually makes.

1. Define the decisions and measures with the people who use them, and give each priority measure one definition.
2. Measure baselines for hours, errors and disputes, so the benefit can be reported later.
3. Check what the data can and cannot support, and state those limits in the analysis.
4. Build dashboards and automated reports in short review cycles with the people who use them.
5. Run the new report alongside the spreadsheet until users trust it, then retire the spreadsheet.
6. Add forecasts or predictive models only for the two or three decisions that justify them.
